A new era in cooler air conditioners
As many Canadians are getting ready to go on vacation, I though it would be a good time to write about the "next generation" of portable coolers with built in air conditioners. The IcyBreeze Cooler can be plugged in or operated from its built in rechargeable battery. <img src="https://ekiledjian2.micro.blog/uploads/2025/4a3f80c178.jpg" alt=""> It has different dan speeds and also keeps your drinks cold. That's it, nothing else to say. Source: IcyBreeze

As a security professional there are a handful of steps I perform regularly that many of you don't so here they are: Install a well respected antivirus/antimalware software on your PC with real-time protection enabled and regular automatic updating of its database. There are hundreds of online posts discussing which one is "
The World needs Gummy Bear Sausage
In the category of "are they out of their minds" comes Gummy Bear sausage. At first this looks like a misprint or a joke but it isn't. Oh no folks, this is the real thing. Grundhofer Old Fashioned Meats (link) in Minnesota is the creator of this meaty sugary monstrosity. The owner, Spencer GRundhofer, said this started as a joke when a friend suggested he make a gummy bear flavored sausage. The joke turned into a permanent menu item when demand continued to grow.
This notebook makes everyone cry
there are many reasons you use a notebook: at work to take notes, at home to build a to do list or a sacred spot to share your most precious inner thoughts (aka a diary). Notebook manufacturer Magnus Ferreus has created "the worlds first emotion-stirring notebook". The Notebook will make you cry as you write in it. The pages are coated with the same compound that causes you to cry when cutting onions (hence the name). The compounds are released as you write, they evaporate and cause you to shed some tears.

Rocket scientist designs the ultimate pan
Science is a wonderful thing. It has made our lives easier, safer and more enjoyable. Now Dr Povey, an engineering teacher from Oxford University, has created a new pan design that leverages cutting edge rocket science to deliver the ultimate pan. Flare is the result of this intensive research and is the most efficient pan ever created for gas stoves (it also works on electric, ceramic and halogen). The pan has a series of "fins" which direct the flames and ensure a more efficient heat distribution.

POV Video going down the world's tallest water slide
I love thrills like the next guy but this is kind of ridiculous. It is basically a 17 floor drop at about 100km/h. It is so fast that you'll already be in the catch pool by the time you realize you have made a horrible horrible mistake. The ride is composed of the scary horrifying death drop and a 4 person raft you slide down in. All I can say is thanks but no thanks

Some call these loopholes, some call them excuses and some call them false justifications. Regardless of what you call them, they are real. The purpose of creating this list is just to create awareness about them so you can catch yourself using them the next time.
Rebuilding broken Employee Engagement
[caption id="" align=“alignnone” width=“1280”]Image by GDS-Productions used under Creative Commons License [/caption] Employee Engagement was incredibly popular in most mid to large organizations, then the recession hit and organizational survival become the modus operandi. It's not that employee engagement isn't important but rather less important than ensuring the survival of the company. With business and employee confidence back on the rise and the economy stabilizing, it's no wonder that HR departments and the organizational leadership are now trying to dial back into employee engagement (we are seeing employee engagement discussed at fireside chats during conferences, written about again in management magazines and discussed in HR oriented online forums.

De-stressing transforming tea bags
These specially designed teabags start off in a "stressed out shape" and then slowly transform into a more relaxed version of that shape when dunked in hot water. This creative idea was hatched by the bright minds at M&C Saatchi (link) for the BOH tea company (link). It's a great visual reminder to just take a minute and relax.
When travelling, should you use cash, credit card or debit card?
[caption id="" align=“alignnone” width=“667”]Image by Steven Depolo under Creative Commons License [/caption] The question I get asked the most is "When travelling, should I use cash, credit card or debit card?" Cash is accepted everywhere It's important to remember that regardless of where you travel, the surest most certain form of value exchange is the US dollar. For every trip, I always make sure I have a comfortable amount of US dollars in various denominations spread out throughout me (you never want to pull out a wad of cash in the middle of the street in a foreign country.
